I notice that you have google ads in random positions in your demo contests. I read the user guide and it makes no reference to how to ad google ads. From what I know, google ads do not use a vendor ID. 

Could you guide me through this?

also, what is the thumbshot code? the user guide speaks of it like it should be common knowledge "add the thumbshot code if you are using the default thumbshot template"  
I have no idea what that means. Could you define this further please.

Hi Mark,
I will expand the documentation on these features in a future release.

digContest will insert banners that you have setup in your vendors. All you do is create a banner under any vendor, it can be any type of banner. For adsense, it would be a "script" type banner. The important thing is the banner group. The group is what tells digContest what banners to display. So, I can have 10 vendors with 10 banners, and for digContest to display them, they need to be in the same banner group. Once you setup your banners in the vendors, you simply tell digContest which banner group to use, what group of vendors it should use (site or host), and what the positions are. If you use -1 as the position, it will place them randomly.

If you have a contest which really isn't a photo, poetry, or caption. Say it's for the best looking website, best video, the best myspace page, the best facebook page, or the best profile page. You can use the thumbshots template, and it will give a screenshot of the url the user submits to the contest. To create the screenshot, or also called the "thumbshot", you need to subscribe to thumbshots.com, which will give you a code when you subscribe to their service. You get something like 50,000 hits/month for $9.95/month.
