can we see it so that a user cn not vote for their own entries? this could realy make a contest unfair...

I should add to this. It would be nice if the user could not vote for their own entry once a day when using that setting. Maybe just once for the whole contest fot just their own entries.

 

What do you think?

Good points, would just not allowing them to vote work, it would be the easier of the 2 solutions? The way I see it though is that every contestant can vote for their entry as much as the next contestant. The big idea behind digContest is to bring lots of traffic. If the contestants need to come back once a day to vote, that's one more chance they may see an ad to click on, or buy a product.

I can understand the idea of creating return users. I think that is a great idea from a webmasters perspective. But from a entry contributor, they don't seem to see ti that way. They see it like "the other guy will be here more than me so i don't have a chance

Maybe having the added option for this request would be a good idea incase some users get upset.

I understand your point completely, and I agree it would be a great option. I'll add it to the feature requests and put it in the next major release.
